The Kishwaukee River Conference (KRC) is excited to announce the addition of Plano High School and Sandwich High School to their membership. All sports and activities will compete as an eight-team conference starting in 2023-2024 except in football. Football will continue their partnership with the Interstate 8 Conference through the fall of 2023. Then in the fall of 2024, the KRC will have its own conference football schedule. The Kishwaukee River Conference has built a proud history since its inception in 2015, and are confident that the strong athletic and extracurricular traditions of these two schools will be an integral part of the future of the conference.
