Starting Monday, June 7th, District 88 will be distributing 7-Day FREE Meal Boxes every Monday through August 9th. Stop by Emily G Johns or Plano High School between the hours of 11:30-12:30 PM or 5-6 PM for your free box for each child 18 and under. There are no income requirements or checklists! Just stop by to pick up 14 FREE meals per child--jam packed with kids favorites like cheeseburgers, pizza dippers, mac&cheese, chicken nuggets, fresh fruits and veggies, breakfast grab 'n go options and half-gallons of milk! Did you say FREE?? Yes, we did and we hope you will swing by and pick up your boxes every Monday at these 2 locations only. If you are picking up your kids from summer school, why not grab a box every Monday?
Beginning June 7th, each Monday throughout the summer, District 88 will distribute FREE seven-day boxes of breakfast and lunch favorites with half gallons of milk. There are no income eligibility requirements and meals are available for ALL children 18-under.
Seven-day meal packs are available every Monday at TWO SCHOOLS ONLY – Emily Johns and Plano High School between the hours of 11:30-12:30 PM & 5-6 PM. Check the district website for the drive-thru locations. Don’t miss these opportunities to stock your pantry, fridge and freezer!
Over the last year, our district has loaned many Chromebooks, iPads, chargers and hotspots to students.
If your student is enrolled in summer school (district summer extension program (SEP) or special education extended school year (ESY)), your students will keep their device until the end of the program (July 1st), at which time they will turn in their device and charger.
If your student is not in summer school or if you have not yet turned in your Chromebook/iPad, drop-off times are available at Plano High School at Door #1.

Senior finals will take place over the course of 4 days between Tuesday, 5/18 and Friday, 5/21. If it is an all senior class, students will test in their normal classrooms. If it is a mixed grade level class, seniors will report to designated classrooms around the building to take their exams with school proctors. Remote learners will need to report to office hours at the times above to complete their final exams
Remote learners will take their exams in the afternoon according to the schedule above
Seniors meeting the requirements for exemptions will not need to be present for that specific exam. They may stay in the Innovation Center if they must wait a class period to take one of their final exams
Seniors taking the bus on 5/19 will either stay in the Innovation Center during 1st and 2nd periods OR arrive at 10:30 for 3A
Students with extended time can test during designated periods as well as continue to test during the afternoon from 1:00-3:00pm
Seniors taking the bus on 5/21 will either stay in the Innovation Center during 1st and 2nd periods OR arrive at 10:30 for 3B

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching. The table above breaks down the final week of the 2020-2021 school year.
*Monday will be a remote day with an altered schedule--it will be a review day for B day classes only. There are 15 minutes between each class so that students who have additional questions may receive that support before attending their next Zoom class.
*Tuesday will be a typical attendance day for both remote and in person students.
*Wednesday through Friday will be the actual final exams for the class periods shown.
8Students who arrive late for their exam will not be allowed into the classroom and will need to take their exam after school.
*Juniors meeting the requirements for exemptions will not need to be present for that specific exam

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2021 is scheduled for Sunday, May 23rd, at 2 p.m. This ceremony will be held outdoors at Reaper Stadium. (Senior parents, please see email for all of the details)
