Bilingual Spanish-speaking families are invited to an evening workshop on Monday, October 23rd from 5-6:30 PM at Emily G. Johns School hosted by Dr. Ferney Ramirez.

Come dressed in pink to the "Pink Out Girls Vs. Boys Volleyball Tournament" special event on Friday, November 3rd at 7:00 PM. Proceeds from concessions and merchandise will be donated to a breast cancer survivor. The entrance fee is $1 for students and $3 for adults and the event is sponsored by the National Honor Society at Plano High School. Children 5 and under are free. Come cheer for your favorite team!

All in need are welcome to walk or drive-thru the location at First Lutheran Church in Plano, 200 N Center Street. Fresh fruit, veggies, bread items, frozen meat, canned goods, milk, eggs and other goodies! You will still have time to make it to the Plano Senior Night Football game at 7:30 PM at Reaper Stadium!

With the arrival of hot days, it's crucial that D88 students and staff stay well hydrated throughout the day. We therefore strongly recommend that everyone bring their own water bottle to school. Students and staff can then refill their water bottle all day in order to stay hydrated. Students will also be provided with time to fill their water bottles before boarding the bus in the afternoon. We advise everyone to clearly mark bottles with their name.
Elementary schools will continue to monitor temperatures for outdoor recess in order to determine a unified plan that is in the best interest of student’s safety. Please check middle and high school announcements for important info about sports practices and games.
