NOTE: Centennial School evening service is closed effective today, but meals are still available there in the morning and afternoon on Mondays & Thursdays.
PLANO SCHOOLS OFFER FREE MEALS FOR ALL CHILDREN IN PLANO
The USDA has approved waivers to allow school districts to serve FREE meals to all children in the community 18 years of age and under. This is like the program that was offered in the spring and summer to all families. This special deal not only applies to students enrolled in school, but ALL children in Plano.
You might ask, how do we take advantage of this opportunity? It’s easy! Parents and guardians are eligible to pick up bagged meals at all school buildings during the following days and times:
• Mondays - 8:30-9:30 AM, 11:30-12:30 PM or 5-6 PM
• Thursdays - 8:30-9:30 AM, 11:30-12:30 PM or 5-6 PM
There are no income eligibility requirements, no paperwork to complete and our drive-thru, curbside service is safe and efficient.
On Mondays, each child will receive 3 FREE breakfasts and 3 lunches and on Thursday, each child will receive 4 FREE breakfasts and 4 lunches. What a great way to help subsidize your food budget and feed your student’s the meals they love from the school menu.
