Dear Parents/Guardians and Community Members,
As we move into our second semester of the 2019-2020 school year, please be aware that dangerous weather conditions may create the need to alter the school day and/or close schools. Please review the inclement weather plan that can be found under “School Closing & Emergency Information” to further understand the criteria that will be taken under consideration when making these decisions.
If the decision is made for schools to remain open during inclement weather situations, parents and guardians have the discretion to make appropriate judgement regarding the safety of their children.
If it is necessary to close school once classes begin, students will be dismissed based on information parents provide at registration. While the school will make every attempt to reach parents, it is not always possible. In those cases, emergency information provided by parents at registration will be used. Please be certain that the current names and phone numbers of your family’s emergency contacts are updated in PowerSchool. Please also discuss these emergency arrangements with your child.
