Good Evening PHS Families,

I hope this email finds you and your family healthy and doing well during our Spring Break.  Please note, as of today, we are not scheduled to resume school until April 8th. We will send out additional notifications once we get closer to this date.  Beginning Monday, March 30th the District will be providing multiple meals for students on Mondays and Wednesdays only from 11:30am-12:30pm at Plano Middle and Emily G Johns Schools.

There are a few things I want to share with you all as we’re continuing to shelter in place at home.  As of now we will continue to promote ongoing learning at home and our teachers should be in contact with you as to what they’ve been providing your children in regards to enhancing their learning.

In addition to ongoing learning our high school teachers are giving students the opportunity to turn in any missing work they have outstanding while we are on this break.  I would ask that you check PowerSchool and Google Classroom to see what assignments your child/children can make up. Our teachers are working very hard to provide these opportunities for your child/children and we want to make sure these opportunities do not go to waste.  If you have any questions regarding their missing work feel free to reach out to their teachers.

Please stay safe, encourage your students to continue to do something educational and spend some quality family time together.
