Dear Parents/Guardians,
Last night an email was sent out from our Superintendent, Tony Baker, informing everyone that we will not be in session today, Monday 3/16/20. This is in addition to Plano High School not being in session from Tuesday, 3/17/20 through Friday, 3/20/20. As of now we will resume school on Monday, 3/30/20.
Beginning today teachers will be providing on-going learning for all students in every class. On-going learning for your children could include a variety of different tasks which is intended to enhance their learning during this next week. Some on-going learning tasks could include readings, packets to be completed, websites to view and opportunities for students to view teacher-created videos and activities to assist with their learning.
Your students should begin checking their individual teachers' Google Classroom for these tasks/activities and they should take a few hours to engage in their on-going learning throughout the day. These activities will not be graded, however should be taken seriously as they will be enriching the learning within each course.
Students are highly encouraged to communicate electronically with their teachers if they have any questions as to what’s expected of them during this time. In addition to their Google Classroom teachers can be contacted via the Remind application, teacher websites, and any other media teachers use to distribute critical class information.

Anoche se envió un correo electrónico de nuestro Superintendente, Tony Baker, informando a todos que no estaremos en sesión hoy, lunes 16/03/20. Esto se suma a que la Escuela Secundaria Plano no estará en sesión desde el martes 3/17/20 hasta el viernes 3/20/20. A partir de ahora reanudaremos la escuela el lunes 3/30/20.
A partir de hoy, los maestros proporcionarán aprendizaje continuo para todos los estudiantes en cada clase. El aprendizaje continuo para sus hijos podría incluir una variedad de tareas diferentes que están destinadas a mejorar su aprendizaje durante la próxima semana. Algunas tareas de aprendizaje continuo podrían incluir lecturas, paquetes para completar, sitios web para ver y oportunidades para que los estudiantes vean videos y actividades creados por los maestros para ayudarlos con su aprendizaje.
Sus estudiantes deben comenzar a revisar el Google Classroom (salon digital) de sus maestros individuales para estas tareas / actividades y deben tomarse unas horas para participar en su aprendizaje continuo durante todo el día.
