Plano students who attended IKWF Tourney

Student athletes from PH Miller, Centennial, Emily G Johns and Plano Middle School were recently recognized at the Plano School Board Meeting.  Students are members of the Lil Reaper Wrestling Club, NWO Wrestling Club and Team Demolition and attended State tournaments.

 

 

Lil Reaper Wrestlers

Plano girls and boys from the Lil Reaper Wrestling Club also qualified for the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF) State Tournaments.  Coaches and student-athletes attended the meeting to share the medals they won at the regional, sectional and state tourneys.  Wrestlers are pictured with some of their coaches.

 

 

 

NWO Wrestlers

Pictured is Coach Rogelio del Muro with six NWO Club wrestlers who attended the IKWF state tournament.  Plano Middle School seventh grader Mason Villarreal won the Boys Novice Division at 154 lbs and is pictured on the right with his winning bracket.

 

 

Team Demolition Wrestler

Wyatt Crowe, seventh grader from Plano Middle School, represented Team Demolition at the IKWF State Tournament.  Wyatt wrestled at 69 lbs and placed 7th out of the Top 24 wrestlers at the state tournament.  He is pictured with his mom and biggest cheerleader.

 

 

All IKWF Wrestler

Pictured are all of the Plano students who qualified to attend the IKWF State Tournaments.  Novice and senior divisions were held at the BMO Center in Rockford on March 8 & 9th.  Intermediate and bantam weights competed at the Decatur Civic Center on March 16 & 17th.  Congratulations to all of the Plano students who proudly represented the community at state wrestling tourneys.
