A huge shout out and thank you to Megan Land, Chuck Schneider and Ashleigh, and Project 3:11 for their work on the micropantry that will be placed outside near P.H. Miller School. A micropantry is a free food pantry, where community members can access or donate non-perishable food items and personal care items. Project 3:11 is a local, non-profit organization that helps connect people with neighbors who care. This micropantry is a project initiated by P.H. Miller teacher Megan Land, a member of Project 3:11, who wanted to help provide assistance for neighbors in the area who do not have transportation. Chuck Schneider and his daughter, Ashleigh, stepped in to help design, build, and paint the micropantry. It is a community project to be proud of! Megan, Chuck and Ashleigh were recognized at the May Board meeting.
