Dear Parents and Guardians of Plano CUSD #88,
With the new school year and the IHSA fall sports season upon us, we at Plano High School welcome and encourage all future Reapers to attend and experience our high school sporting events. At all of our events, we aim to create an atmosphere that is safe and enjoyable for everyone attending. Due to this, Plano High School does not allow students in grades PreK - 8 to attend sporting events unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. Students in grades PreK - 6 should sit in the stands with a parent, coach, or another adult who is responsible for them during the game. Additionally, children found at the stadium wandering unaccompanied by an adult or misbehaving during the game will be asked to sit with their parents.
Students should be reminded that school rules do still apply while in attendance at Plano High School events, and misbehavior can lead to disciplinary action. We ask that students be in the stands cheering on our teams when the games are underway, unless they are going to/from the concession stand or restrooms. To avoid injury and other potential issues, we ask that all in attendance refrain from running around the stadium, engaging in reckless behaviors, and playing football behind the bleachers or within stadium grounds during our events.
We appreciate our fan and student support at Plano Reapers athletic events and look forward to making memories at the stadium this fall! It is our hope that with consistent supervision, all children can remain safe while attending our events. With your cooperation and support, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all spectators in attendance while cheering on a REAPER victory!
Thank you, and GO REAPERS! Sincerely,
Nate Hill
