The Plano High School Chapter of Tri-M® Music Honor Society has been named the 2024–2025 Illinois Chapter of the Year by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). This prestigious recognition celebrates the chapter's outstanding commitment to music education, leadership, service, and academic excellence.
Chosen from among hundreds of chapters nationwide, our Plano chapter stood out for its innovative musical initiatives, impactful community service projects, and dedication to fostering a passion for music and service among students and the broader community.
We are so incredibly proud of our students’ dedication and the meaningful work they’ve done to promote music and service. This honor reflects their hard work, creativity, and leadership!
Tri-M, a program of NAfME, recognizes secondary school music students for their musical ability, academic excellence, and community involvement. The Chapter of the Year award highlights exceptional achievement in these areas. We would also like to provide extra recognition for our five Tri M officers for all of their leadership in our organization.
