Plano CUSD 88 celebrated Plano Premier Awards winners, Retirees, Years of Service Award winners, and ISBE's "Those Who Excel" Award winners at the annual Salute to Service Ceremony on May 5th. It was a beautiful evening, full of emotion, as the Board of Education congratulated district employees who had been nominated by their peers to receive recognition for their dedication and passion to our school community. The Board also recognized 13 retiring teachers and staff who, together, have decades of time invested in the school district. Additionally, 7 staff members were recognized for 10 years of service to D88, 3 for 15 years, 5 for 20 years, 6 for 25 years and 1 for 35 years of service! Three district teachers were also recognized for being awarded state accolades from the Illinois State Board of Education's (ISBE) "Those Who Excel". We extend a very warm and heart-felt congratulations on their recognition and success!
