Plano Schools will now be closed on Monday, March 16th for all students and staff. This includes transportation for out of district students. Information is coming in quickly and decisions are changing rapidly, which is why we feel it is in the best interest of all parties to practice social distancing and allow families to stay safe at home. Building administrators will be sending information to you related to our ongoing efforts to promote learning at home.
Throughout the upcoming weeks, the Plano School District food service program will offer drive thru breakfast and lunch starting Tuesday from 11 AM-1 PM at two locations, Plano Middle School and Emily Johns. All children in the district 18 and under can drive through for a free meal, regardless of eligibility.
The State of Illinois has classified the upcoming days of non-attendance as “act of god” days that school districts will not be required to make up at the end of the year.
Plano High School and the District Administrative Office will remain open for voting on Tuesday, March 17th. However, all facilities will be closed to outside agencies until further notice.

Buenas tardes, esta es una comunicacion importante del Distrito Escolar de Plano con un mensaje muy importante. Las escuelas de Plano ahora estarán cerradas el lunes 16 de marzo para todos los estudiantes y el personal. Esto incluye transporte para estudiantes fuera del distrito. La información llega rápidamente y las decisiones cambian rápidamente, por eso creemos que es en el mejor interés de todas las partes practicar el distanciamiento social y permitir que las familias se mantengan seguras en sus hogares.
