Pictured are Constanza Burciaga and Carlos Alvarez, both sophomore students at Plano High School. At the most recent Board of Education meeting, each of them spoke regarding their experiences as English language learners at the high school and newcomers to the country. Administrators presented them with special Plano medallions for speaking at the meeting. They did a fantastic job sharing how they receive supports in their classes and certainly left an impression on all present!
