Understanding that excellence in athletic field maintenance often goes unrecognized and under-appreciated, Pioneer Athletics, through its Fields of Excellence Award Program, established in 1997, honors outstanding athletic fields and the hardworking field crews who diligently maintain them.
Applications from colleges, high schools, and parks and recreation departments from all over the U.S. underwent a rigorous judging process that yielded 96 winners from a large pool of applicants. As a winner, Plano High School will receive a certificate of recognition and a Fields of Excellence banner to proudly display. Pioneer may also use the picture of Plano High School’s winning field in their upcoming publications and annual calendar.
