Plano Middle School 8th grade student Mario C. and 7th grader Nate Z. were recently honored at a Board of Education meeting for their wrestling achievements. Both athletes finished in the top four in their weight class at the IESA regional and sectional tournaments and advanced to the State tournament. Coach Derek Love said he was very proud of each of these wrestlers, as they are both fairly new to the sport of wrestling and they advanced to the State level. He looks forward to great things from his team and these wrestlers in the future.
