Our community of educational professionals at Plano CUSD #88 understands that our jobs are never done. Partnerships between home, schools, and our community reaps rewards that extend well outside of the classroom. We have volunteers who donate their time and energy to benefit the students in Plano CUSD #88. To them, we would like to extend a sincere, “THANK YOU!” Please consider joining in and giving back to ensure that our students continue to have wonderful experiences both inside and out of the classroom!

Club 88 is a parent/teacher organization. The organization seeks to provide fun events for the community and with the Pk-6th grade school buildings in Plano District 88. Contact club88parents@gmail.com.

Parents build leadership skill by getting involved in school and community activities.

Support for Teachers: Parent Mentors provide teachers with extra eyes, ears, and hand in the classroom. Parent Mentors can also connect the community to the classroom by drawing on the strength of neighborhood families.

Support for Students: Parent Mentors can give extra attention to students, often in their native language, both in terms of academics and social-emotional development.

Parent mentors, united as a group, lead the way to create positive change in their school and community.

The Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee is a parent group that advises the Plano CUSD #88 school district regarding academic programs serving English Learners. The goals include to establish a collaborative voice between our bilingual families within our EL programs, promote positive parental participation in the development of the educational experiences for our children, and to establish a network to promote and celebrate our diverse cultural experiences. Our PreK-6th grade parent advisory committee is a place for parents and school staff members to combine efforts to support student learning and also share solutions and ideas to help students grow. Plano Reapers Sports Boosters is a group of parents who want the best for the student athletes. Our purpose is to raise Money through fundraising to help Plano High School Sports, we also volunteer to decorate our fields and give that extra cheer to our student athletes.
