Dear Plano School District #88 Stakeholders,

The first 100 days in any new position can be both the most rewarding and the most challenging. The leadership transition within our district should be a smooth process for our students, teachers and community. While we currently have many initiatives moving in positive directions within the district, the timing of this transition is also an opportunity to obtain feedback from all stakeholders on the district’s progress and seek opportunities to become even better.

For the previous 18 years, I have been a proud member of Plano School District #88 as a teacher, coach and administrator. I have had the opportunity to work with many inspiring colleagues and families throughout that time. I look forward to the expansion of my new role as your Superintendent of Schools. It has been a true pleasure to witness the continuous improvements throughout our district. I look forward to being a part of the ongoing growth for the betterment of our students and community.

Tony Baker
