Dear Pastor Denbow,

On behalf of the P.H. Miller Elementary School students, families, staff, faculty, and administration, please accept our deepest thanks and heartfelt gratitude for the work that was completed by your youth group as part of the Life Group Service Project on Sunday, June 25, 2017.

On Monday, I was amazed to see how much was accomplished in a few short hours! It is a true testament to the saying that ‘many hands make light work’. Your team’s generous donation of time and labor allowed our staff to complete a major project in less time with far less back-breaking work than they might otherwise have done. It is not every day that 12 teens and young adults would give up a sunny Sunday evening to spread 75 yards of mulch on a playground and then move a ton of gravel from outside the building to an indoor atrium.

As a school community, we are truly blessed to be the recipients of such time, attention, and support from your youth and your church. I know that our students, staff, and families will appreciate these efforts when spending time in our storybook garden and on our playground.

Thank you again for your continued service in giving back to the community and being the ‘hands and feet of Jesus’. Your light and spirit has brightened our school and continues to bless us each day. Please express my deepest gratitude to your team and thank them for their time.
