Meal Distribution Schedule to Change
Effective Monday, March 30th, the emergency meal distribution plan will be changing slightly. In order to limit exposure for our families and essential workers, we will be distributing meals TWO DAYS PER WEEK, Monday and Wednesday. The times of the drive-thru service will remain the same at both Emily G Johns and Plano Middle Schools, which is 11:30-12:30 PM.
On Mondays, we will distribute breakfast and lunches for Monday and Tuesday (you will receive 2 breakfast meals and 2 lunches per student).
On Wednesdays, we will distribute breakfast and lunches for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (you will receive 3 breakfast meals and 3 lunches per student.)
We hope you find this new system easier for you and your family, by limiting the number of times you need to go out each week. If you have any issues with this new distribution system, please email adminoffice@plano88.org and we will try to accommodate your needs the best we can.
Remember all students age 18 and under are eligible for FREE meals, regardless of their eligibility during the school year. All are welcome and encouraged to drive-thru for healthy and nutritious meal options from 11:30-12:30 PM at Emily G Johns and Plano Middle Schools.
Also, remember that the YMCA is passing out FREE dinners every day, Monday thru Friday, from 3-4 PM at their Plano branch on Route 34 and Eldamain Road (east of town.) All students 18 and under are eligible for these free meals, too!

Horario de distribución de comidas para cambiar
A partir del lunes 30 de marzo, el plan de distribución de comidas de emergencia cambiará ligeramente. Para limitar la exposición de nuestras familias y trabajadores esenciales, distribuiremos comidas DOS DÍAS POR SEMANA, LUNES Y MIÉRCOLES. Los horarios del servicio drive-thru serán los mismos tanto en Emily G Johns como en las Escuelas Intermedias de Plano, que son las 11:30 AM-12:30 PM.
• Los lunes, distribuiremos desayuno y almuerzo para lunes y martes (recibirán dos desayunos y dos almuerzos por estudiante)
• Los miércoles distribuiremos desayunos y almuerzos para miércoles, jueves y viernes (recibirá 3 desayunos y 3 almuerzos por estudiante).
Esperamos que este nuevo sistema sea más fácil para usted y su familia, al limitar la cantidad de veces que necesita salir cada semana. Si tiene algún problema con este nuevo sistema de distribución, envíe un correo electrónico a adminoffice@plano88.org e intentaremos satisfacer sus necesidades lo mejor que podamos.
Recuerde que todos los estudiantes de 18 años y menores son elegibles para recibir comidas GRATUITAS, independientemente de su elegibilidad durante el año escolar. Todos son bienvenidos y alentados a conducir hasta opciones de comidas saludables y nutritivas de 11:30-12:30 PM en las Escuelas Intermedias Emily G Johns y Plano Middle.
Además, recuerde que el YMCA está ofreciendo cenas GRATUITAS todos los días, de lunes a viernes, de 3 a 4 de la tarde en su sucursal de Plano en la Ruta 34 y Eldamain Road (en el este de la ciudad). Todos los estudiantes de 18 años y menores son elegibles para estas comidas gratis, ¡también!
