Algebra I

This class is designed for the accelerated 8th grade math student. It is taught exactly like Algebra I at Plano High School. A student satisfactorily completing this course, with the teacher's approval, upon entering high school will be able to enroll in Geometry as a freshman.

By the end of the school year in Algebra I, your child should be able to understand and use detailed algebraic functions to solve linear equations and graphs. There will also be an understanding of how algebra is used in real world situations.
