MARCH EVENTS = MARCH MADNESS!!!

WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN MARCH AT PLANO MIDDLE SCHOOL

On Friday, 3/19, a group of 8th Graders will be taking the yearly trip to Washington, D.C. They will leave in the wee hours of the morning on Friday and return late Sunday night. In between, the group will experience a variety of monuments, museums, and beautiful sights in our Nation's Capitol!

 

3rd Quarter ENDS on Friday, 3/19. The scheduled plan is to hand out the 3rd Quarter Report Cards by or before Friday, 3/26. However, with PowerSchool's ongoing issues, we will keep you updated on what the final procedure will be!

On Thursday, 3/25, from 8:30am - 11:00am, PMS will be hosting it's annual Career Fair. This year's theme will highlight "technology". The students will have opportunities to speak with representatives and participate in some hands-on demonstrations!

Finally, to close out the busy month of March is Spring Break!!! There's an Early Dismissal on Friday, 3/26 at 10:40am. Spring Break will commence from Monday, 3/29 to Monday, 4/5. Classes will resume on Tuesday, 4/6.

Also, something for parents..."Parenting is No Picnic - Surviving Your Adolescent". This free workshop is offered by NCO Youth & Family Services - Linden Oaks. It will be held at the Edward Conference Center: 27555 Diehl Rd., Suite G in Naperville, IL. The event will take place from 9:00am - Noon on Saturday, 4/10/10. If you're interested, please RSVP to (630) 646-8060 by no later than 4/1/10.
