Introduction

Did you know that certain animals are hatched from eggs? What do we call animals that hatch from eggs? Your mission is to work together in groups to find information on four different animals that hatch from eggs.

The Task

You and your group are going to research information on four different animals that hatch from eggs. After you are finished with your research, you and your group are to write a report. Then your group will give an oral report to the rest of the class. Make sure to have these questions answered.

Is the animal a mammal, reptile, fish, bird, insect, or amphibian?

Where does the animal live?

What does the animal eat?

What does your animal look like?

Which animal lays the biggest egg? How big is it?
