The Character Counts Pillar for January is Trustworthy.  At P. H. Miller the teachers are talking to their students about being trustworthy.  These are some things students can do to show that they are trustworthy:

• Be Honest – Don’t lie, cheat or steal.
• Be Reliable – Keep your promises and follow through on your commitments
• Have the courage to do what is right, even when it seems difficult.
• Be a good friend and don’t betray a trust

Please talk with your children about being trustworthy.  Students who have demonstrated that they are trustworthy will be recognized at a Character Counts Assembly on January 28, 2010.
