CARING is the Character Counts Pillar for the months of November and December at P.H. Miller School. Students and staff will show they care for others by participating in the food drive sponsored by "Plano's Rockin' Christmas."

Please send your food donations to school from November 16th-20th following our themes as listed below.

Monday - Veggie Day! Wear green.

Tuesday - Soup Day! Wear sweats.

Wednesday - Fruit Day! Wear bright colors.

Thursday - Paper Products! Paper hats made at school.

Friday - Side Items! Wear mismatched clothes.

November 19th is Family Reading Night sponsored by Secretary of State and State Librarian, Jesse White. Families across the state of Illinois are encouraged to turn off the TV and read for 30 minutes. Students at P. H. Miller will be bringing home a "brick" to record their reading time on that night. The students are to bring them back to school and we will hang the bricks up in the building. The class with the most bricks will win a donut party!
