Emily G. Johns Home of the Jaguars Welcome to Emily G. Johns School! Our intermediate school provides exciting learning opportunities for all of the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students within the Plano School District. Our school community strongly believes in building collaborative relationships to improve student learning and create a positive environment for all learners. Every day we model and teach one another to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible! Our commitment to learning is focused on the following four questions:

1.     What do we expect our students to learn?

2.     How will we know when they have learned it?

3.     How will we respond when they don’t learn?

4.     How will we respond when they already know it?

Our mission is to provide the necessary instruction and support for all students to achieve high levels of learning.  This can only be done through the committed efforts of our students, parents, and teaching staff.  Working together, we will all contribute to continued growth of our students and our learning community.
